The Four-Way Test
  1. Is it the truth?
  2. Is it fair to all concerned?
  3. Will it build goodwill and better friendships?
  4. Will it be beneficial to all concerned?

What is Rotary?

Rotary is the world's oldest service club organization. It is made up of over 33,000 Rotary clubs in more than 200 countries. Members of these clubs are called Rotarians. Together they form a network of 1.2 million business and professional leaders, all volunteering their time and talent to serve their communities and the world.

How do I become a member of Rotary?

Often, a person being considered for a membership is invited by a club member to attend one or more meetings to learn more about Rotary. Then, the Rotarian submits the name of the potential candidate to the club's membership committee.

For more information about joining our club, please contact us online or through any club member.

What are the qualifications for membership?

Prospective members should:

  • Hold (or be retired from) a professional, executive, or managerial position
  • Be able to meet the club's weekly attendance or project participation requirements
  • Live or work within the vicinity of the club

What are the responsibilities of membership?

Rotarians are encouraged to attend weekly club meetings. Members pay annual dues to their club, Rotary district, and Rotary International. Members are encouraged to participate in local and/or international activities and projects of the Rotary club. Clubs encourage members to aspire to be leaders within their clubs.

What are the attendance requirements?

To remain an active Rotarian, an attendance record of 60% is required. Missed meetings can be made up by attending other Club's meetings.

What is the minimum age to be in Rotary?

There is no minimum age, but you may be invited to join the Rotary any age after you have become established in a career and have time and financial resources to meet membership requirements.
